The UKCA marking (United Kingdom Conformity Assessed) is a product label that has come into being as a replacement for the CE label after Brexit for placing products on the market in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland Wales). From January 1, 2023, all products requiring labeling that are newly placed on the market in the United Kingdom must bear the UKCA label.
By affixing this label, the manufacturer confirms that the product complies with all applicable and legal requirements of Great Britain and that the compliance assessment procedures have been duly completed.
A product may only be placed on the market in Great Britian, if it meets the requirements of the applicable UKCA directives, and if it has undergone a conformance procedure in accordance with the applicable UKCA directives.
With the UKCA marking, the PTR HARTMANN GmbH confirms the conformity of the products to the following directives:
- Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016
- 2012 No. 3032 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2012
