Number of Pins of rotary code switches
PTR HARTMANN rotary code switches generally have two kinds of connection systems available.
- 3+3
- 4+1
The 3+3 pinning systems have one common connection pin ("C") and two outgoing pins on each side. The common connection pin is the input contact and is either the center pin or a lateral pin. Switches with 3+2 pins, that have one common contact only (1xC), are available on request.
The 4+1 pinning system has one common connection pin on one side and four outgoing pins on the other.
